Use the code BUILD for 20% offROCKWOOL Thermal Timber Frame Slab is a thermally performing insulating material that has been designed to maintain comfortable indoor environments by protecting against fluctuations in outside temperatures all year round.
Thermal Timber Frame Slab has been engineered as a semi-rigid insulation slab to provide friction fit between the studwork of external timber frame walls.
Saving on installation time and reducing waste, the friction fit helps to support performance by avoiding sapping gaps and cracks in the structure. Even as the timber studs continue to dry out and contract over the time, the Thermal Timber Frame Slab stays firmly in place.
Manufactured from stone wool, ROCKWOOL Thermal Timber Frame Slab is rated Euroclass A1 non-combustible and is able to withstand temperatures in excess of 1,000°C.
The density and non-directional fibre orientation of stone wool means it also supports acoustic requirements.
Thermal Timber Frame Slab achieves a lambda value of 0.034 W/mK and can meet or exceed Part L (Conservation of fuel and power) of the building regulations.
