Baufritz

The clear, cubic structure of this Baufritz single-family house in Bauhaus style with around 200 sqm of living space, blends into the park-like north German forest landscape near the coast.

Here, huge rhododendrons and wild grasses sway in the wind, the birch trees that have always stood here rustle, lush hydrangeas proliferate. The flat roof is greened, the “Scala” wooden façade is deliberately left in its natural state. In accordance with the Baufritz principle, only biologically sound materials and healthy building materials were used.

The two floors are precisely tailored to the individual needs of the people who live here. Connected by two steps, the spacious library on the ground floor adjoins the generous kitchen/dining and living area. A discreet sliding door creates the connection to the practical side kitchen with an additional door to the carport.

The technical room, right next to the utility room, also has access from outside. Living in a unique house with a view is also defined by the two seating windows: in the library, engrossed in a good book, with a view of the floor-to-ceiling shelves or the enchanted landscape outside the window, in the living area with a view of company at the dining table, delicious meals and the magnificent greenery.
