Flat Glass rooflights immerse Belfast Lough residence in natural light

Flat Glass rooflights were supplied as part of a new build private residence located on the shores of Belfast Lough in Northern Ireland. Details of the specification were important due to the exposed location and a Flat Glass rooflight was selected due to its high thermal efficiency delivered by a thermally broken frame and double glazing.

Four fixed Flat Glass rooflights were manufactured to meet a variety of size requirements. A non-fragile glass assures the safety of those above while a strong laminated inner glass pane ensures the safety of those below.

The rooflights were fitted on the upper floor overlooking corridors, a stairwell and a dressing room boosting natural daylight where window access is limited. The aesthetic appeal of the elegant aluminium frame was also enhanced by Marine powder coating to harmonise with the surrounding environment.
