Building Close to Home: Tina and David

Tina Cranfield and David Robson had been searching for a home in their local area but struggled to find one that met their needs. When they discovered a development of six new-build properties in Kirkby on Bain, they realized this could be their perfect opportunity.

They wanted a four-bedroom home with a garage and a large driveway. After initially dismissing the development, they reconsidered when they saw the plot size, stunning views, and artist’s impressions. Tina, born in Kirkby on Bain, also wanted to be near her mother, who was battling cancer. After speaking with the builder, they opted for a custom build, allowing them to adjust the design to better suit their needs.

The Build

Tina and Dave managed the project themselves with the help of reputable local builders. This approach allowed them to select and source materials while working closely with tradespeople. The building company provided bricklayers, joiners, tilers, and decorators, ensuring a smooth process with teamwork at its core.

Finance & Support
