theEDGE2.0 is IDSystems’ Build It award-winning ultra-slim sliding door system, featuring narrow 20mm sightlines, large glazed panels and the widest range of configurations of any sliding door on the market.

The expansive glass panels and slim sightlines are perfect for any project, whether you want to make the most of your site’s rural views or are looking to maximise the amount of light in your urban home.

With panel widths of up to 2,800mm high and 3,000mm wide, the system can create bright, modern living spaces that will help you bring the outside in. theEDGE2.0 is the most versatile sliding door available, with apertures from 800mm up to 24 metres accommodated and you can even achieve a completely clear opening by opting for pocket sliders, while open corner designs are also possible.

Each door system is handmade to your requirements with more than 200 RAL colours to choose from. The system can be installed with twin or triple tracks, with each panel interlocking front-to-back to preserve narrow sightlines.

theEDGE2.0 is designed with semi-bonded glazing, where the glass is only bonded to one side of the panel, unlike fully bonded systems which would require the whole panel and glass to be replaced should the glazing ever get accidentally damaged.

Unlike other systems on the market theEDGE2.0 can be designed with an add-on at the top to accommodate trickle vents to meet the requirements of Building Regulations Document F, In addition to stunning aesthetics, theEDGE2.0 also hits the mark on energy-efficiency with system U-values as low as just 1.2W/m²K, whilst the doors For security and peace of mind, the system includes an anti-lifting device, aluminium interlocks between each panel and a multipoint locking mechanism. What’s more, the doors have been weather-tested to cope with extreme conditions, even in the most exposed locations.
