Highley sought after for its variation in warm, rich colouring, Western Red Cedar ranges from pale cream to deep reddish browns offering a dynamic finish for both traditional and contemporary architecture. As a low movement, resin-free species Western Red Cedar can be factory coated with MillCoat® to enhance this colour pallet or alternatively can be left uncoated to gradually develop a beautiful silver-grey patina. For a uniform natural greying and improved weatherproofing Millworks Western Red Cedar can be pre-coated with Organowood® Surface Treatment, a one-off solution that imitates nature’s own smart chemistry.
