Webbs Meadows Custom Build Scheme

Webbs Meadows is a custom build scheme by Oakwrights and landowner Kinsey Hern. The scheme consists of 13 plots, each with full planning permission for detached homes. Utility connections and highways access are taken care of. Buyers are able to reapply for an amended design to fully meet their needs, provided it conforms to the general vernacular design guide for the development. All of the homeowners, bar one, took the opportunity to work with Oakwrights’ architectural team to do just that.

The result is a characterful, community-led development on a 3.5-acre site that plays host to a cohesive mis of sustainable homes, including traditional oak frame cottages, modern jettied country houses, and contemporary larch-clad properties. Each self builder had a choice of build routes, from self-managing the project through to taking a turnkey route with Oakwrights’ team.
