We recently completed an exciting project, supplying custom-designed sliding louvre doors for a delighted customer in Goring-On-Thames. Situated by the picturesque River Thames in South Oxfordshire, Goring is famed for its charming village and peaceful surroundings.
The focal point of this project is a stunning detached house, now adorned with Sunshield’s distinctive sliding louvre doors. These panels, meticulously crafted, cover an expansive area, each measuring just over 5 square metres. Two panels elegantly glide along 4.8-metre rails, while a third spans an impressive 10 metres.
A key highlight is the meticulous attention to detail. The rails were seamlessly integrated into the floor and ceiling during construction, enhancing aesthetics and ensuring smooth operation that complements the house’s architecture. The sliding frames feature Western Red Cedar louvres set at a precise 25-degree angle, offering visual appeal and captivating views. The panels slide effortlessly from left to right, manually operated for convenience.
Finished in RAL 7016 anthracite grey, these sliding louvre doors add a modern touch to the house’s façade while providing protection against wind and sun. They significantly enhance the house’s visual appeal, blending seamlessly with the owner’s vision and boosting curb appeal. This project showcases our commitment to delivering transformative solutions that enhance outdoor spaces’ functionality, aesthetics, and comfort. With Sunshield’s sliding louvre doors, this Goring-On-Thames residence enjoys a unique architectural feature that adds value and elevates the overall living experience.
