Brimstone Extension to Grade II Listed Farmhouse

Architect Kris Eley needed something fresh for the exterior renovation of this Grade-II listed farmhouse. Rather than creating a pastiche of the old building, the plan was to stylishly upgrade it with a contemporary design; our hardwearing Brimstone cladding fit the bill perfectly.

Our Brimstone range of thermally modified ash, sycamore and poplar is sourced from native woodlands, and is highly durable. Even if left untreated, it will remain straight for decades. Its clean vertical lines make it perfect for an elegant look with modern appeal.

Both architect and client were so impressed with our services that we were also contracted to supply sweet chestnut for the farmhouse’s kitchen and window interiors.
